...held at the Richmond Coliseum, was for all the schools of VCU (undergraduate, engineering, medical school, nursing school, school of recreation and parks, etc)
The Evening Ceremony
...held at the Siegel Center, was only for the medical students. While we officially became doctors after our degrees were confirmed upon us at the morning ceremony, it was here we received our diplomas.
